How to Install the SOS Panic Button

An SOS alert is triggered by pressing the Gunsens SOS Panic Button three times. The Panic Button must be within approximately 50 feet of the associated smartphone to successfully trigger the alert. It can activate an alert even if the smartphone is locked.

To install an SOS Panic Button, follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the SOS Panic Button by pressing and holding the button for a couple of seconds until it beeps. This only needs to be done once—the button will stay on permanently.
  2. Open the Settings menu in the Gunsens app and tap “Install a Gunsens SOS Panic Button.”
  3. Use your smartphone’s camera to scan the QR code located on the back of the SOS Panic Button.
